| Woodgate Valley is an area of meadows, hedgerows, woods, ponds and streams on the western edge of Birmingham. Most of the Country Park was originally farmland, although there were also brick works, clay pits and nail-making sites. It is now a haven for wildlife and, therefore, a valuable educational resource for schools. |
