Woodgate Valley is an area of meadows, hedgerows, woods, ponds and streams on the western edge of Birmingham. Most of the Country Park was originally farmland, but it’s now a haven for wildlife and a valuable educational resource for schools.
What’s Here?

In here there’s a  classroom base/lunch area, reception, small café and toilet facilities.

Outside the visitor centre there’s seating, picnic benches, a small playground and playing fields.

Away from the visitor centre there’s a variety of natural environments to discover and explore - woodland, hedgerow, meadow, pond and stream.
